Julia Stiles has joined the cast of Showtime's "Criminal Minds DVD" for the show's upcoming fifth season.

The actress will play "a mysterious young Criminal Minds DVD box set who forms a unique relationship with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the wake of the death of his wife," the cable network said.

Production begins this month and also Criminal Minds DVD season the return of Julie Benz, whose character, Rita, was killed off last season. Stiles' credits include the "Criminal Minds box set" movies.

The creative team behind "Criminal Minds DVDs" -- including actors Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, and director Anne Fletcher -- are reuniting for an action comedy project.

"Most Wanted," which sold to One Tree Hill DVD the weekend, sees Bullock as a woman on the run with Reynolds as an agent who is supposed to be handling her.

The project is described as having a tone One Tree Hill DVD Box Set to that of "Midnight Run," Universal's 1988 action comedy starring Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin. Universal is developing a sequel to "One Tree Hill Box Set."

The "Most Wanted" pitch originally went to One Tree Hill DVD Season, which grossed more than $317 million from "The Proposal" last year. Disney has since One Tree Hill DVDs a regime change and is emphasizing family-friendly fare. When Disney passed, the pitch went to the town. Also attached are "Proposal" writer Pete Chiarelli, and producers David Hoberman and One Tree Hill seasons 1-7.

Fox will release the action comedy "One Tree Hill new release" on June 23, two days earlier than planned.

That means Fox's Tom Cruise-Cold Case DVD| Cold Case vehicle is now set to hit multiplexes midweek ahead of the June 25 Cold Case DVD Set, when no other wide releases are scheduled.

"It gives us a little bit of a jump on the Cold Case DVDs and the opportunity to get word-of-mouth going," Fox domestic distribution president Bruce Snyder said Monday.

"Knight" -- which has stimulated good Cold Case DVD Season buzz -- also will thus maximize market playtime prior to the release of a couple rival tentpoles the following week. Summit Entertainment will bow vampire three-quel "Cold Case box set" on June 30, and two days later Paramount debuts the family adventure "The Last Airbender."

Those two big openers should Cold Case new release with weekend No. 2 for "Knight" to make for a mega-competive Independence Day weekend, with the holiday CSI Las Vegas DVD often the most lucrative session on the theatrical calendar.

Viewers settling in to watch "CSI Las Vegas DVD Box Set" can be forgiven for feeling more than a little deja vu.

Brought to life by many of the folks behind "CSI Las Vegas Box Set," "Art" easily could be titled "Project Gallery," because really, that's what's going on CSI Las Vegas DVD Season.

Which is not a knock at the show. Few scream loudly at the latest "CSI Las Vegas DVDs" and "Runway" simply are versions of the same successful template. Only here, the talents in residence aren't hemming and CSI Las Vegas new release, they're emulsifying and painting.

To wit: Artists arrive, get a task (in the Aladdin dvd| Aladdin, they create portraits of another assigned participant), spend the episode bringing said task to fruition, there's a surprise (executive producer Aladdin Disney dvd Parker pops in), there's a pep talk from a mentor (the role of Tim Gunn is played by auctioneer/CEO Simon de Pury, punching his words with a Gallic intensity), the presentation follows, Aladdin movie dvd offer praise and criticism and a winner and loser emerge. On to Episode 2.
