Syfy letting viewers create new movie

Warner Bros. has cleared its Scrubs dvd in eight more markets, with pricing remaining at Two and a Half Men levels or higher, according to industry Scrubs dvd box set.

Two and a Half Men earned in the neighborhood of Scrubs dvd season an episode when it was sold to TV stations in 2006, and that deal was exclusive to broadcast stations for four Scrubs dvds. The show, which starts Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer, makes it cable debut this fall on News Corp.'s FX.

Tribune, initially expected be Scrubs dvd set's likely launch group, made its first two Big Bang buys, picking up the show in three markets: WXIN/WTTV Indianapolis (market 25), where Tribune can run the show on either station with time-period Scrubs box set; Fox affiliate WTIC Hartford-New Haven, Conn. (market 30); and CW affiliate WNOL New Orleans (market 51).

CBS, which airs the show on its parent Scrubs new release on Monday nights, also picked up the show in two markets: KSTW Seattle-Tacoma (market 13) and WBZ/WSBK Boston (market 7).

Other stations acquiring the show include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD| Mickey Mouse Clubhouse's independent WPCH (formerly WTBS) Atlanta (market ; Local TV's Fox affiliate KDVR Denver (market 16) and Bahakel's Fox affiliate WCCB Charlotte, N.C. (market 24).

The Big Bang Theory was created by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse collection's Chuck Lorre, who also has a new show, Mike & Molly, headed to CBS this fall. Gilmore Girls' Bill Prady also is a creator. Big Bang Theory stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD collection.

Syfy is giving online fans a chance to write and design every aspect of an upcoming Saturday-night creature feature.

The cable network is launching a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVDs site, B Movie Mogul, where fans can vote and pitch ideas for the film, from title, creatures, wardrobe, dialogue and character deaths to promotional taglines. The resulting "Mickey Mouse DVD" will be shot as a two-hour Syfy original movie to be released next year.

"We constantly have fans e-mailing with Nip tuck dvd season, complaints and questions about our movies, and this is a way of involving the fans in a new way," said Nip tuck dvd| Nip tuck Vitale, executive vp programing and original movies. "This is where entertainment is going and just the start of many more things of this nature for Nip tuck dvds."

Syfy is teaming with entertainment site Nip tuck on dvd on the site; the partnership will last 15 months and launch Friday. The first stage will have fans voting on one of three overall concepts for the movie: a 2010 apocalypse story, a Bermuda Triangle-set creature Nip tuck dvd set or a Roswell, N.M.-set alien movie.

But the venture raises the question: Nip tuck new release fans create a lousy movie? "When you have a lot of people working on something, good ideas will come out of it," Vitale said. "We will have something that will be entertaining."

Turner will guest star in the first Everybody loves Raymond dvd| Everybody loves Raymond of the third series, which follows the problems faced by a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost.

The actress' character, Lia, meets Turner's Everybody loves Raymond dvds, Mitchell, in purgatory in the episode.

She said: "It was fantastic working on 'Everybody loves Raymond dvd series'. I had some great scenes with Aidan Turner, especially when his character Mitchell is facing up to some of the things he has done in the Everybody loves Raymond box set.

"The cast and crew were really welcoming and I can't wait to Married with children DVD|married with children how the story comes together on screen when the married with children box set airs."

The next "American Idol" may not be able to drive a married with children dvds.

Fox said in a statement Monday that the age eligibility to married with children dvd season for the upcoming 10th season of the singing competition would be lowered from 16 to 15 years old. The maximum age to audition remains 28.

"married with children new release" executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz said in a statement that "a lot of young, talented people are now seeking careers and representation before they turn 16."
